Brief 16 : Femfresh - ordering sample packaging

Initial thoughts regarding packaging

I intend to revamp the Femfresh packaging therefore I have had to consider a few things before I go ahead and order packaging samples. 

There is lots to consider as Femfresh wont have a big budget to go all out on fancy packaging therefore it need to be functional, storable and shippable. 

The packaging needs to be engaging - through the use of colour, materials, branding, point of sale ect

Very quick sketches

Here are some super quick sketches I did to show people who knew more about sourcing packaging samples what I was after. The problem with ordering packaging is that many websites expect you to buy in bulk. Below are the sorts of shapes I am after, very simple examples of familiar shapes ranging from creams to wet wipes.

Packaging samples

I intend to revamp the Femfresh packaging therefore I have ordered in some samples to play around with. I have two options to experiment with, for example the silver cap packaging below and the frosted plastic samples at the end of the post. 

The frosted plastic examples look quite fancy, so I have my doubts if it would work properly with the Femfresh brand however I need to wait and see what they are like when they arrive.

I think the current Femfresh packaging has scope for improvement and I hope the samples will be good enough / appropriate for the brand and the target audience.
